The DAAC is at a crossroads where we have to make some tough decisions. Our current operating model won’t be enough to keep going as a collective. The DAAC will stop existing if we can’t find a better way forward.

We have a large and growing list of unmet volunteer needs. We have a core committee of volunteer leaders who are in flux, with some outgoing and not enough incoming. We need to decide what changes to make, and how, in order to continue as a collective. We need new, energized leadership to step up if they wish to see those changes.

We invite community members to join the discussion. Please join us with C.A.R.E. - collaboration, acceptance, respect, and encouragement. We are holding a public meeting on September 17, 6pm-7pm to discuss.
